What’s been happening:

After graduating from Penn State, I moved to Washington, DC. I decided to take a little time away from Landscape Architecture and worked for a year or so as a receptionist at a hair salon and as a waiter in one of DC's hippest restaurants. After doing some research on what types of Landscape Architecture jobs were available in the DC metropolitan area, I accepted a job as a designer/ project manager for a residential design/ build firm called GardenWise, Inc. In 2004 I decided to branch out on my own and created my own design/ build firm- PM Garden Design Inc. I am a small company consisting only of myself. I specialize in design and installation of residential outdoor spaces of all sizes. My typical day includes meeting with clients, working on designs, putting together pricing proposals, managing installation crews and shopping for plant materials at local nurseries. It is a job that I truly enjoy! In 2001, I met my partner Rick and finally settled down in my personal life. We own a large townhouse in the DC suburbs and we like to travel as much as possible when time allows. We are the proud parents of a wonderful dog who is the best "child" we could have ever asked for!
